Currently Area Director of Tennis and Pickleball for ProsToYou at Old Georgetown Club, Seven Locks Swim and Tennis Club, and Inverness Recreation Club.

Private and group pickleball and tennis coach for kids and adults in Montgomery County.

Coaching services

I currently coach kids and adults, ranging from 4-65 at beginner and intermediate levels. I travel around Rockville, Bethesda, and Potomac.

Tennis private lesson

About me

I am a full-time lecturer at UMD teaching Intro to Philosophy. I played varsity doubles tennis in high school, and after moving to Maryland in 2020, I picked up pickleball pretty easily and started coaching soon after gaining my PPR Level 1 Coach certification. I take an individualized approach to coaching and tailor each session to the player’s expressed goals.

  • My DUPR is 4.028
  • I have a PhD in Philosophy from UMD
  • My favorite tennis player of all time is Rafa Nadal, and my current favorite tennis player is Jannik Sinner
  • I have 2 pet guinea pigs (one crossed the rainbow bridge July 2026)
